  • Staunton State Park - Watch for the opening of our newest Colorado State Park!  Located approximately 10 miles from Bailey Lodge, Staunton State Park is scheduled to open mid-2012.  The 3,800 acre park will soon open for picnicking, wildlife viewing, hiking, horseback riding, mountain biking, rock climbing, fishing, photography, outdoor education, geo-caching, geological studies, botanical studies, as well as multi-use trails and hiker-only trails.

  • Guanella Pass Road - The southern end of the 22 mile-long Guanella Pass Road is just ten minutes from Bailey Lodge. Length of drive is 1 to 2 hours, longer if you stop occasionally and breathe the clean, rarified air and take in the specatcular alpine views on a more personal level.
